Training Services
We provide the following training services:
Rope/High Angle Rescue training as well as working at Heights, Rope/High Angle for companies that work “over the edge” this includes all types of Rope Access work. This training is consistent with NFPA and OSHA where applicable. We provide all levels of Rope Rescue training, from basic self-rescue to Advanced High Angle rescue courses.
Rope Rescue Operations Level; This training is primarily for Fire Rescue personnel that will respond to rope rescue situations. This class is consistent with NFPA 1006 and is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as an A-list course and can be used for higher level firefighter certifications.
Rope Rescue Technician Level; This training is primarily for Fire Rescue personnel that will respond to all types of rope rescue situations, and for those that will be in charge of a rope rescue incident(s). This class is consistent with NFPA 1006 and is approved by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a B-list course and can be used for higher level firefighter certifications.
Confined Space Training:
We provide the following Confined Space Training,
Awareness level training; for those that work in facilities that have both confined spaces and permit required confined spaces.
Operations level Training; for those employees (usually industrial) that have to work in confined spaces and permit required confined spaces. This training includes certification for Attendants, Entrants, and Entry Supervisors.
Confined Space Rescue, operations level; For both industrial and Fire Rescue personnel that are required to make “entry” rescues into confined spaces and permit required confined spaces. This class is consistent with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 as well as NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescue Personnel, Professional Qualifications. Operations level is a prerequisite.

OTHER TRAINING:
Tower Rescue, Technician Level; This training is for those that work in the tower industry and Fire Rescue personnel that respond to tower rescue emergencies. This class is consistent with NFPA 1006. Rope Rescue Technician is a prerequisite.
Tractel, Rollgliss, and other Wind Turbine Rescue; These classes are for those that work in the wind industry and/or sites that utilize tower cranes, and rely on on-site or partner rescues or emergency evacuations. These class are tailored to your specific equipment and the type of work you are involved in.
CPR/First Aid/ AED Training; We provide both the Heart Saver and the BLS version of CPR/First Aid/ AED training. These classes are through the American Heart Association.
Fall Protection Training; We provide fall protection training for both industry and construction. This training is consistent with OSHA 1926 and other applicable standards.
Trench Rescue/Trench Safety Awareness; We provide Trench Rescue training that is primarily for Fire Rescue personnel. This training is consistent with NFPA 1006. We also provide Trench Safety and Awareness training. This is primarily for construction and industrial clients that are required to have OSHA Trench Safety training.
Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) Approval
Texas Rescue’s, High Angle Rescue & Confined Space Rescue Classes
Operations (Level I) and Technician (Level II) have been
approved by the TCFP for Advanced Firefighter Certifications.
Level I Classes are A-list classes and Level II are B-list
classes. All classes meet NFPA 1670-2017 edition & 1006-2017 edition
requirements.
Texas Rescue is also now offering the Tower Rescue
Classes as outlined in NFPA 1670-2017 edition Chapter 4.
